Praise Day in the Park

Praise Day In The Park 2008 is a free annual event sponsored by Family Life Radio and hosted by Village Baptist Church in Chesaning, MI. It is a day designed specifically to glorify, exalt, and honor the Lord Jesus Christ through praise and worship. The day starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. The worship groups have volunteered their time and talents to this event and admission is free. This year’s highlights will be recording artist Erik Bledsoe from Nashville, TN, The Choir Visible (formerly known as “No Other Name”) from Owosso, MI, Sarah Schieber from Midland, MI and Faith 4 from Holt, MI. It is a day where you can set aside the pressures and problems of every day life and ask the Lord to minister to you in a special way through His people. We have created a safe wholesome alcohol free environment for you and your family to enjoy inspiring music. Bring your lawn chairs and come join the excitement at Showboat Park in Chesaning.

A Free Will Offering will be taken at the door to raise funds for the ministry of the: Saginaw Rescue Mission. There will be a ministry tent to allow Churches, Christian Schools, Christian Camps, and Singing Groups to promote their ministry and materials. The ministry tent also provides opportunities to raise funds for youth groups, mission trips, and to explore Christian Service. We would like to ask you and your congregation for help in spreading the word to the people of Mid-Michigan about this special day of praise, and to encourage you and your church to support the day with your presence.

For more information about this event go to: www.vbcmi.org or download our flyer.
